12000 sq meters of epoxy resin coating system laid at Collins & Aikman production facility in Birmingham.

Collins & Aikman are a major car component manufacturer, producing car interiors for Land Rover and BMW.

Their new facilities in Birmingham was purpose built and called Protective Surface Coatings to lay a heavy duty floor to 12000 meters to separate production areas from trucking gangways.

Protective Surface Coatings provided specialist floor preparation. Dark green was chosen for all production areas and walkways and Chelsea Blue was chosen for all forklift gangways. The contrasting yellow safety demarcation lines in epoxy resin complimented the final finish.

The new floor was installed in 8 phases, providing a attractive, easily cleaned, professional floor surface that created a safe environment for a major manufacturer.
